What To Expect

Are you hanging on to old t-shirts that you no longer wear or collecting plastic bags under the kitchen sink? Well, we know how you can utilize these unwanted items while diverting waste from the landfill AND having fun...

Join us for the first event in our three-part Worn Wear virtual event series (see complete schedule below) to learn how to make upcycled yarn. In this first workshop, we will be teaching you how to make yarn from your unwanted t-shirts and plastic bags.

This workshop is free and is a beginner course, so all are welcome! The class should only be about 30-45 minutes long.

Supplies List:

•

Old T-Shirts

You can use t-shirts that are big or small, but it is preferred that the t-shirt doesn’t have any side seams.

•

Plastic Bags

For your plarn (plastic yarn) you can use any plastic bag, grocery bag or even produce bags work great!

•

Sharp Scissors

•
